Resolved my issue. Clear instructions. Easy to follow. No jargon. Pictures helped. Didn't match my screen. Incorrect instructions. If the update is available, you should see a message letting you know as much, and it will automatically download and install to your computer. You are running a risk by forcing the update.
Microsoft rolls out the update to machines based on how other similar machines behaved during beta testing. You found the right place to look for fixes. Here are the solutions for the most common problems. Upgrading from ISO didn't work. I couldn't even reset my pc. So installing Windows 10 again was my last option which eventually worked!!!
But I couldn't figure out what was causing the error. It used to get stuck on the black screen during update and then revert back my current Windows 10 version.
